Owl Together Now!

Now I could or would not leave town and not make sure I had some eye candy for you all to look at while I’m in Canberra gawking at more eye candy!! I have decided to have posts automatically post while I’m gone (I don’t want a blemish in that record now!!LOL!

So while I’m away I thought I would show you the swaps I have taken to Convention. I used the Owl Together Now SS for this one.

I had better get moving…..

…or I will not be ready and packed for Canberra! I have been busy today doing computer work and sorting my wardrobe to see what clothes I will be taking to COLDCanberra!! LOL!! I am half packed at least. Hopefully I will have the rest done by tomorrow. Or maybe I will take that trip to Toowoomba I need to do before I go. Who knows what I will do….

Now for show and tell-

I got the idea for this card from Splitcoast Stampersand the designer was hapablap. I need a little more practice at water colouring but I think it is getting there! I really love simple cards, but I seem to struggle with them. Splitcoast stampers is a awesome source for a huge range of styles and designs. I’m always on there.

This set is sooo cute! This particular card was made when I first received all my new stamp sets from the new catty!  So what do you think?

Now onto BLOG CANDY!! Unfortunatley we didn’t get the 20 comments to achieve another stamp set, BUT I am have a new challenge for you all so we can get that set into the LOOT.  I want 5 different people to name ONE (only one) of the SU Colours used in the above card. Everyone has to submit a different colour to eachother. I know I used more than 5 colours, so it should make it easy for you. You can name any of the colours used. Lil’ Monster!

I bought these papers when they first came out. They are part of the Night Light collection from October Afternoon. I love their stuff for scrapping the kids. The texture and designs are just beautiful! Go check them out if you haven’t already.

On to today’s add on to the BLOG CANDY!! It is a little quiet on the comment front today! Well that’s it……..

I have a blemish in my record! I have posted everyday for just over 2 weeks straight and then whoops….. I miss one. Oh well, I’m sure you will forgive me on that! Especially if I put in extra BLOG CANDY!!! That’s right you heard me right!!! I’m going to add three things into the Blog Candy Bonanza! But first I want to show you all this.

I got this fabulous idea from Karen Thomas’s blog! She is one ultra talented lady and I love her goodies so if you have that time go and check her blog out! You will not be disappointed!

This is a great little tool for booking workshops. When someone decides they would like to book, they can choose one of the flowers with a flap, and under that flap is a prize just for them. I will then present it to them at their workshop! I loved the idea when I first saw it all those months ago, but just got busy and said “I will get to it”. How many of you say that? I say it all the time…lol.

Tic Tac Toe!

While I’m away at Convention, it is my son Sean’s 11th birthday. Oh my gosh! They grow so quickly don’t they?! For his birthday this year and because I am going to hate being away from him I’m going the extra mile to make it special.  Hubby is taking him to the Air Show at Emu Gully on his birthday and when I get back Sean and I are going to the movies together for some mum and son time. And of course presents! A bought one and a made one! He loves the game Tic Tac Toe and Kaiser has just bought out an OTP version. I just finished decorating it yesterday.

He is going to love it! I had so much fun putting it together and I think it turned out quite well! How many of you ave done a Kaiser OTP project?? All products used are Kaiser.

30,000 hits……WHHAAA!

Can you believe I have reached 30 000 hits since August last year?? That is totally amazing! I just love to be able to inspire others to create. It is such an awesome feeling…..especially when you receive such lovely comments like I have (it makes me work harder). Thank you to everyone for their support in the last 8 months, it has been very much appreciated.

One of my goals this year in the creative side of things is to published. Whether it be a scrap page or cards, it doesn’t matter. That would be just awesome.

For all the love and support I have received I have decided to give something back……and of course that is BLOG CANDY!!

Easter Bonnet!

These photos are a couple years old, but the LO itself is only a few moths old. The card stock has shown much brighter than it actually is but I’m sure you get the idea. My little darling made this bonnet all by herself for the Easter Bonnet Parade at her school. My favourite part would have to be the cute little chick on the front (check out the close up), he is sooo cute. These papers are DCWV and I used co-ordinating colours from the Core’dinations Card stock collection. The title was done with Thickers and chipboard which I painted and glittered.

 So what do you think? She is sooo cute hey?!

Anyway, I better get moving and cook some dinner, but come back tomorrow as there will be BLOG CANDY posted here in the morning! Just as soon as I get a pic of it. I’m pretty sure you are going to love it.

Sweet Moments!

Here is a cute little layout I did for a workshop a little while ago. It was also a challenge by my friends. See, I had yet to do a double layout using wholly and solely SU stamps, CS and DSP. Anyone who knows me knows my scrapping style or even if you have looked at previously posted layouts that they are not quite the same.

So what do you think? I’m quite proud of it and the girls loved it. They even wanted to do another one, which ended up being the Tonka truck layout I previously posted. I should get my act together and organise another one for the girls. I might do a layout with cupcakes (hint, hint Kolina….lol). I will probably organise it for May, just after I come back from convention. I suppose I better get the boys Birthdays out of the way too…..hehe!
