I have just placed an order from the new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalogue (you can find a link for it in my sidebar), and I am just full of creative mojo. I also have the Christmas in the Country Craft show coming up in November. I know it sounds like ages away but this year has gone so fast already, so I am now in design mode for that. I’m very excited indeed. I am also holding a Catalogue Launch in a couple of weeks, I know, I know….I’m a little behind, but I have only just rediscovered my mojo. It was patiently waiting behind the “Get you life in order” box. Now that box is unpacked, mojo was found.
Anyway I had a little play with one of the stamp sets we received at convention. Gorgeous Grunge, which is fast becoming one of my favourite stamp sets. Back ground elements are so very useful and can create a quick and easy card.
The colour combo I used came out of the catalogue too. On every page there are photos of samples and they list the background colours of every pic and they are great colour combos. This one is Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo, Soft Sky and Crumb Cake.
Well I’m off to do all that creating I told you about! LOL.
Thanks for dropping by,
It has been quite a while since my last post. A lot of my friends and blog stalkers have asked me what has been going on, are you still a demonstrator?, do you still craft?…..are you breathing?! LOL. Well that is a yes to all of the above. But the explanation to why I have been MIA is long and I am sure you don’t need to know it all. I will say however I no longer live in Gatton. We now reside on a lovely farm at Southbrook (just outside Toowoomba), so if any of you out this way would like to attend workshops or host your own stamp party, contact me.
I better get moving with this post, I have someone (who I love lots), sitting at her computer waiting for this post to go live! So after another friend advised their could be lots of cobwebs hindering my access to posting I thought I better get in here and clean it out! So without further ado here is my long-awaited, but simple creation I whipped up this morning. I have a lovely friend in mind for this card and I hope she loves it and books a party straight away! LOL
So here are a couple sneak peeks into the upcoming catalogue. I have a new in color Crisp Cantaloupe, a new stamp, Label Love and new DSP Modern Medley. I do like the first card I have made after such a long break. It is simple, but lovely.
Thanks for dropping by!
