Here is a closer look-

Pretty cute HUH?! I had heaps of fun making this one and not too mention I’m set for Valentines Day! LOL!

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #17

Hey everyone!

This week challenge was a toughie for me! I kept thinking that the SS Bird on a Branch would be perfect but alas I do not own it! Isn’t that always the way?! So I had to put on my thinking cap. Oh my that hurt!! LOL! I decided I would turn my submission into a Dinner Invite. But first take a look at the challenge pic-

Here is my interpretation-

What do you think? It is very simple, but that is the idea as they are invites and I like to keep them simple. The colours are Chocolate Chip, Creamy caramel and Whisper White. The stamp sets used are Fifth Avenue Floral and Sincere Salutations. I used my Choc Chip marker for the border and it was drawn free hand {note the crooked lines LOL}, but I like the effect.

To get more creative juices flowing here are the links to the rest of the DT

I’m sure they will have something fabulous for all!

Crazy for Cupcakes!

Hey everyone!

This is the last card that I have to show you from the ‘all nighter’. Now it is nothing fabulous. It was the last card I created and I’m pretty sure the ‘lazy lids’ were starting to kick in! LOL! I totally adore this set. I might even get it for myself yet. Like I don’t have enough!!!

Here it is-

I coloured in the cupcakes with blender pen and crayons. i then used the Two-way glue pen on the icing part and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds on it just to jazz it up a bit.

Well tomorrow is Inkspiration Challenge time. I will be spending the rest of the day playing with that. And don’t forget the HUGE prize giveaway to the Winner and the Honorable Mention. How totally awesome is that?! Keesh is super generous! Also the DT is helping to pick the winner. So I best dwindle my list of fabulous creations down. It is going to be tough. There are some fabulous creations out there!

Nature’s Nest!

Hey everyone!

I have to admit to you all, that I am still wearing the training pants when it comes to water colouring. But I will never get there if I don’t practice, right?! Here is another card I made at our all-nighter (I think I only have one more to show after this). I really took advantage of using SS that I do not own. Like Razzle Dazzle, Wagon full of Fun, Crazy for Cupcakes (hint, hint) and Nature’s Nest. Thank you Sally!

Here is the card-

Isn’t he cute?? A very male orientated card! I pulled out the Linen Thread and the Cutter Kit as well as the Mat Pack. All great tools for male cards. I am still not sure of the sentiment though….but it was the only font I could find that sort of suits. What are your thoughts?

Well I best be off I have some social calls to make as well as a heap of paper work. Later on I will share some ‘first day back’ school photos!

Some Baby Love!

Hey everyone!

Just an ultra quick post today! We are off for that BBQ in the park soon. It will be lots of fun. This is another card I created at the all nighter! It is too cute and I have some requests to do a workshop with it. I might make a matching gift box to go with it. I will let you know.

He’s the cutest duck I have ever seen! I hope you like him! He is all paper pieced. It was actually a lot of fun to make.

Well best be off…..plenty to do and OH MY……’s back to school tomorrow! YAY!!!

Thanks for dropping by!

More Razzle Dazzle!

Hey everyone!

I said yesterday that I have more cards from our all night extravaganza to show you all, and I enjoyed playing with the Razzle Dazzle set so much last time when I was at Sally’s I pulled it out again! When I started the card I was thinking of Teneales Razzle Dazzle card that was posted recently. I liked how Teneale stamped the flower flourish in the corners of her card. I didn’t clear emboss mine though. Take a look-see

I really like this colour combo too! Riding Hood Red, So Saffron and Kiwi Kiss make a bright and bold card. I will probably use this combo a bit more!

Well today is the last day that I have to get the kids ready for school. We are doing the picnic in the park thing for Australia Day with David’s employer, Reece. It should be a great family day out! So I best get the uniforms ironed and ready. I think I also have a couple more books to wrap!

What a fabulous night!

Hey everyone!

I got home just a couple of hours ago from an absolutely awesome night. YEP! That’s right I stayed out all night, and I didn’t get a wink of sleep…..! My hubby just came inside and found me asleep with my head on the craft table. He started poking me and said “Go to bed”. When I sat up I found a couple pieces of DSP circles stuck to my head…LOL! No no no….I must finish this post I have sooo much to tell all  my fabulous friends!

It all started when my downline Sally told me she was holding an all night stampathon! How exciting! Sally showed us a couple of very clever cards to recreate, which I will show you very shortly. I helped out a little and showed them how to create my Friends 24/7 purse from a couple of posts ago.We also could bring some of our own projects or just create what we wanted using Sally’s SU goodies! {I can show you those in the coming days. I got busy, I can assure you!}

So here are the cards Sally taught us. The first one was made using a variety of circle punches-

The second we used the Scallop Circle punch, folded the scallops and turned them into trees

Pretty cute HUH?!

I had so much fun creating these cards and had even more fun meeting new people and enjoying so many laughs I earned myself a headache!  LOL!

Well now that I have peeled the DSP circles off my forehead I might head off to bed and catch twenty winks!

Thanks for dropping by and come by tomorrow to see more of my creations!

Hey everyone!

I am so excited! The Inkspiration Challenges are back! I have missed them so much! To kick us off we have a colour challenge. Check out these fab colours-

Isn’t that a gorgeous colour combo?! And look there is Cameo Coral….. You know what? That colour is growing on me. Since I have used in a couple of good colour combos I don’t mind using it at all. Have a look at my creation-

I am really loving this card! It is very simple, but I enjoyed making it as it fell together easily. Don’t you love it when that happens?

  • Cardstock– So Saffron, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla
  • Ink– Chocolate Chip, Versa Mark, Cameo Coral and So Saffron

Circle Scissor Plus Workshop!

Hey everyone!

I had another fabulous workshop last night with the girls, and as the title suggests we made everything using the Circle Scissors Plus.

Take a peek-

Just a quick and easy card with different sized circles and a little stamping. But wait there’s more-

and a couple of close ups-

The ultra cute purse is so fun and easy to make. I got the idea from Julia. You have to check out Julia’s version….so cute! I made a card to accompany the purse to turn it into a gorgeous gift set. The girls had lots of fun making it and using the Circle Scissors Plus. Which by the way is in our current Summer Mini Catalogue. If you would like more information on this very useful tool, email me.

I will see you all again later with the return of the Inkspiration Challenges! So excited about this, as I’m sure all you guys are too!

Birthday Invitations!

Hey everyone!

I have been a busy girl and I have done a quite a lot of creating of late, but some of it I am unable to show as yet. But don’t worry you will! The sneak peek above is of the 18th Birthday Invites I made for my brothers’ girlfriend. She is celebrating her 18th at a fancy restaurant and so the invites called for a bit of GLAM! I think I have succeeded! Have a look-

and open-

The Pink CS and shiny Grey PP is from the local newsagent. It is from Christina Re. I added Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze to compliment them. I used the Damask image from the Friends 24/7 SS and the ever fabulous Baroque Motif vine is just divine, with mixture of Silver and Clear embossing.

What do you think? Would you want me to do your invites?
