Inkspiration Challenge #96

Hey everyone!

I must apologise for being so late in getting my post up. It has been one crazy week I can assure you! lol! This weekend is to be different and no one is going to change it on me……NO ONE!!!

Anyway, on to this weeks Colour Challenge.

I first thought Christmas but I was in the mood for a Baby card, not that it had anything to do with the fact that someine had ordered one, LOL!

I finally used Elebration! This has to be the cutest darn stamp I have ever seen. My friend needed a Congratulations card and I think Elebration is for 1st birthdays, but I still wanted to use it. I decided to make a present out of CS and I then used it to cover the Birthday cake in between the Elephants legs. Pretty cute huh?

Don’t forget to check out the Inkspiration blogspot to see the DT’s creations and of course to submit your own.

Thanks for dropping by!

Inkspirations Challenge #88

Hey everyone!

It’s Inkspiration time, and this time it is a colour challenge. I love the colour challenges. Check out this weeks colours

Pretty bright huh?! My first thought was “WHOOAAA!! What am I going to do with that??” lol!

Here is my sample-

I had a little play with the chair stamp in the Little Additions SS and used some other stamps to give the chairs a patterned appearance. I love how they turned out. I used the Kindness Matters SS and stamped the half-doily along the top to jazz up an otherwise boring card…lol!

Well, now you need to head on over to the Inkspirations Blog to check out the rest of the DT and to submit your creation.

Inkspiration Challenge #48

Hey everyone!

It’s time for another Inkspiration Challenge and it’s cool Christmasy coloured challenge, but I thought I would mix it up a bit and not do a Christmas card. I decided to pull out two sets, one was the Monster set, the other was Elements of Style and because I have used a lot of that set I thought I would give it a rest and play with the monsters.

So what do you think? I love colouring on Crumb Cake, it gives the colours a whole new look. I used the aqua painter to colour them. I stamped the teeth and eyes on whisper white cut them out and adhered to the main image. So very simple but I love it.

Check out the rest of the DT

I am positive they have some fabulous cards to show you.

Making more Monsters!!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to show you the other card that I made at Michelle’s. Before leaving for her place I decided to cut down on what I was taking by choosing colour combos with the Colour Coach and only taking those colours in the CS. Clever hey??! I just had to match up the colours with Stamp Sets now!! LOL!

Well I wanted to play with Make a Monster and the Baja Breeze Sweet Set combo , I thought, went well with it…..what do you think?

Check out those eyes….just a touch leary…but hey he’s a monster! LOL!

I also did a little spritzing, just to dirty it up a bit so it is not so clean and crisp. More of a Darcy card LOL!

Beautiful Wings!!

Hey everyone!

I have been trying to play with all my new things I have purchased out of the new catty! This time I want to be able to say that YES, I have played with that!!!! or YES, I have inked that up!!! LOL! I have been having lots of fun too! I don’t think I have created this much on ages!

Beautiful Wings is a new embosslit available in the new catalogue and I love it. There are five different shapes and sizes with a different pattern in each. They are super quick and easy too. My next workshop is working with this embosslit creating different cards and projects. I cannot wait.

I love this card and you won’t believe it……but I used another combo from the Colour Coach. I use it so much now that it now lives on my desk! This combo was found on the Certainly Celery chip. To give the embossed pattern more Oomph I ran the Pink Pirouette marker {brush tip end} over it to highlight them. I just love it!

Well I have some more house organising to do! Our Garage sale won’t be long now! Don’t forget I have a list of STAMPS FOR SALE further down the page. Check them out!

On a Pedestal

Hey everyone!

I have had a wonderful week! A very stress free week! Don’t you just love them! LOL! I didn’t do much creating though……..but I did hold another Catalogue Launch, but this time in Toowoomba. It was a great night and I am now organising regular workshops for that area! So soon again I will be a super busy little stamper!

Today I managed to have a little play with one of my many new stamp sets. You are all going to be telling how bad I am aren’t you??? But that’s okay I can handle it! LOL! I love being the cause of you all having to purchase a new stamp set just because I have played with it. So once you have the OEX up have a look at this card….

Such a simple fun design that is super cute and not a faux flower in sight! LOL!

  • Stamp Set– On a Pedestal, Solid Stripes
  • Cardstock– So Saffron, Regal Rose, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
  • Ink– Soft Suede, So Saffron
  • Accessories– Regal Rose, Soft Suede, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler Markers, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, SAMJ, Scallop Trim Punch, Mat Pack, Cutter Kit

Also wanted to mention that the colour combo of So Saffron, Regal Rose and Soft Suede came from the new Colour Coach {so in love}, I just added a touch of Cherry Cobbler for the cherry {quite fitting isn’t it?}. Oh well best be off and do some more creating……with some new stamp sets..hehehe!!
