Extreme Skateboard | Kirstys cards 'n' scrapping

Hey everyone!

I love this weeks funky colours! Absolutely awesome for a boy card. As soon as I saw the colours I automatically reached for my Extreme Elements set. I don’t play with it nearly enough…LOL!

I actually managed to keep this card fairly simple. I surprised myself actually! I won’t tell you how I debated over it for two days whether to add more layers or not……LOL!

If you look closely enough at the skateboarder you may notice he is smudged a little. I wanted to give the impression of movement. It was quite easy. All I did was when I stamped him and before you lift the stamp off the page I “dragged” him to the left (the direction the skateboarder is coming from) just a cm or two. Very simple! I like this card a lot….what do you think?

Hey everyone!

It’s time for the Inkspiration Sketch Challenge. I have to admit I struggle with circles. I just don’t know what to put in them. My initial thought is always to turn it into a flower, but I was in the mood for a boy card. Here is the sketch

and of course my creation-

I have a huge thing for naturals Ivory CS at the moment. You might be able to tell in the next few posts what I mean by that LOL!

Stamp Set– Extreme Skateboard, Genuine Article (retired) and Extreme Elements
Cardstock– Naturals Ivory, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede
Ink– Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Versa Mark
Accessories– Heat Tool, Clear embossing powder, Bermuda Bay Ribbon, Vintage Brads, Cutter Kit, dimensionals, 1/2″ Circle punch, Circle Scissors and Sticky Strip
