Colour Throwdown #8

The colour combos coming out are just wonderful and when I first saw these colours I thought the pink one was Regal Rose. DUH! I had never worked with Cameo Coral before and was a little skeptical about me actually completing something, but when I put the other colours with it an image was coming to mind. Great pick Colour Throwdown Team…..very impressed, I will no longer sit there and look at Cameo Coral likes its week old luncheon meat…LOL. Here it is-

The Certainly celery Ribbon is looking a little off to me though. I should have used the thinner one in hindsight but still very happy with overall LO. I used-

  • Stamp Set– Baroque Motifs
  • Cardstock– Old Olive, So Saffron and Cameo Coral.
  • Ink– Old Olive and Cameo Coral
  • Accessories– Certainly Celery Ribbon and Kaiser Rhinestones
  • Tools– Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals and tape.

The more I use the Baroque Motifs Stamp Set the more I like it. Will definitely get my own set.

Thanks for dropping by!

Kwerner Colour Inspiration #20

ci12I have done another Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration and Wow I just Love these colours, they are just spectacular! I will probably do a lot of cards with this combo but will only submit the one. Hope you like it.

I do like the Baroque Motifs very much and matches this colour combo very well. Australia is yet to have Pink Pirouette as an in colour so I substituted with Pretty in Pink. I used

  • Stamp Set– Baroque Motifs and Sanded BG
  • Cardstock-Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink.
  • Ink-Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink
  • Accessories– Certainly Celery Ribbon and Kaiser Rhinestone
  • Tools– Tab Punch, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig and Tape.

This would have to be one of my favourite cards so far and my upline Theresa really liked it too. I stamped off once with the BG stamp before I put it on the vanilla because I didn’t want it to stand out too much and on the other hand I didn’t want the vanilla to look so stark. I did stamp the swirl on to another piece of vanilla and cut a square out matted it on the two pinks and then three dimensionaled it on to the main image. I also 3d the main flower. With the ribbon I just tied a knot in the flap of the tab punch and folded the punch over and taped it down.

Thanks for popping by!
