Hey everyone!
It is time for an Inkspiration Challenge! It feels like I haven’t done one in months. I think it’s because so much has happened in the past two weeks. But OOhhhhh what FUN it was!! I am in super excited mode and I’m lovin’ it! LOL!
This weekend I have a plan! The plan is to do some baking……and then spend the rest on doing some different cards……I say different because I have realised that I have been doing the same sort of card for a very long time….you know the one where I just stamp an image or two and I’m done….I find I am not branching out and trying new techniques. What I want you guys to do is leave for me in the comment section {or email, whatever is easiest} a technique you would like to see me do! Preferably something I haven’t done before or even something I haven’t done in ages. Don’t be shy….I’m up for anything……within reason!! LOL!! I might even have a gift for the best suggestion!
Anyway onto this weeks Inkspiration
I of course reached for the stamp set I usually go for {hence the challenge}, but you have to admit I get good use of it. I just can’t help thinking that a lot of my other sets are getting ignored.
- Stamp Set- Petal Pizzazz, On Your Birthday, Cheep Talk
- Cardstock- Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla
- Ink– Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron
- Accessories– Melon Mambo Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie Button, Build-A-Brad, Clear Rhinestones, Dimensionals, 1/2″ Circle Punch
I did however do something I haven’t done before and that is one of Teneale’s fabulous faux bows. How did I do? Does it pass? I think my tails are a little long, but not bad for my first attempt!
Keesh has a huge announcement over on her blog about the changes that will be happening to the Inkspiration challenges. I think you are gonna like the changes A LOT!!!! So get on over there and check it out!
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the DT too!

Oooh Kirsty I love this! It’s so gorgeous – it just jumps right off the screen – just beautiful.
I never would have imagined YOU stuck in a rut – I’m always amazed by your creations.
I did a challenge on the ESAD forum at Unconvention which was to drag out one of your oldest sets and update it by using our latest tools, colours and accessories. You can check my Heartfelt Thanks card out on my blog.

hshshs, I had to laugh when I saw the flowers! You always work this set beautifully. Do you think you will be ready to sell this set once it retires from the catalogue or it’ll be one of those “you’ll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands” kind of sets?
Love that bow, by the way! You did a great job with it!
Have a nice weekend,
