Hey everyone!
It is Inkspiration time and this week Cindy is hosting. Cindy has also added a twist to the challenge and it is a good one. Unfortunately I cleaned out my stash early this year and gave everything to my daughter and friends. Whoopsy!! ……..BUT wait……. I thought instead I would go through my files and use a technique that I saved to my ‘do it one day’ file. So I chose a technique that creates an accessory. Clever aren’t I?! I came across a paper flower tutorial that I saved in November last year. I found it on Amy Waters blog. These particular flowers have been around a while but Amy has a very good tutorial on how to make them. They are sooo easy but so effective. The perfect accessory! Amy makes the most gorgeous creations, so take the time to check out her blog.
The sketch-
So onto my card-
I just love all these pinks together, they look great together and compliment each other well….and of course what goes well with pink?? Kraft of course! For the Baroque Motif BG I stamped it in Versa Mark and then used the Stampin’ Pastels, Choc Chip and Pretty in Pink and coloured the image by ‘bouncing’ the dauber over the image. I love the subtle effect!
- Stamp Set- Baroque Motifs, Best Yet, Frames with a Flourish
- Cardstock- Kraft, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo
- Ink- Melon Mambo, Sahara Sand, Versa Mark
- Accessories- Stampin’ Pastels, Melon Mambo Ribbon, 1/2″ Circle punch, Circle Scissors Plus, Daubers, SAMJ
