Hey everyone!! Well, I’m nearly there. I have nearly completed going through all our belongings and deciding whether it is going in the garage sale or not. Oh my! Do we own some crap or what?? Lot’s and lots of crap. Not that it is crappy but just a lot of stuff. You will all be proud of me too. I went through all my scrapping stuff and thought realistically about it all. You know,
- “When is the last time I used this?”,
- “Have I used this?”
- “Will I use this?” and the old goodie
- “Why did I buy this??”
But you’re not here to listen about all that! You’re here for a card!
Now here is Makeesha’s sketch for this week-
And of course my submission-
Unfortunately it is not too special! I had a hard time getting my act together for this one. The sketch itself great and there are so many things you can do with it. It’s just me, I’m having an off week I think.
- Stamp Set– Organic Outlines, Always and Sanded BG
- Cardstock– Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Kraft
- Inks– Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron and Versa Mark
- Accessories– Heat Tool, SAMJ, Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Designer buttons (Latte), Chocolate Chip Ink Refill, Linen Thread, Cutter Kit and Clear Embossing Powder
Please check out the rest of the design team…..they WOW me every week!
You will not be disappointed!
Anyhoo I better get back into the swing of garaging! LOL!
Funny what you say about owning lots of crap! i think it doesn’t help when you have 4 kids that collect stuff as well! LOL!
Now I can see you are loving that Organic outlines stamp set! This is gorgeous, and a fab-o colour combo….very different, but very striking too! love it! Thanks so much for your inspired creation this week Kirsty! Love Keesh x

not too special? i love it! i love your colour combinations, i love organic outlines (got it this week, but haven’t had a chance to play with it much yet) and i love, love, love when other people use multiple stamp sets (because it makes me feel better about being completely incapable of limiting myself to one set!).

Oh Kirsty, this is gorgeous!! I love that you used the background stamp — I surely wish SU had the variety that we used to have. Love my Big Shot — but, nothing takes the place of those background stamps for texture. Everything about this card is a WOW!!

Proud of you for purging your stash! This can be quite the undertaking… Best of luck with the garage sale! 😀

HI Kirsty,
its definately not ordinary! My favourite feature is how you cut out the outline stamp for the top layer. And what an interesting colour combo will have to get those colours out to see for myself.

First congrats on the purging, I know how big a job that can be (especially for us crafty folk!) It’s always worth it though! Now, I LOVE your card, everything about it, colours, layout, details everything! I think you might have even broken my will to not get the Always set!! thanks for sharing.
