Busy little Beaver!

img_6385_1

Now this page is not technically finished, you can probably tell that by the empty space on the top left of the second page. I left it for journalling, but I’m sure you get the drift. I really do love these papers from DCWV, and not forgetting the Thickers. LOVE those Thickers. I cut all the little animals out of another paper that comes with the pack, bunched them together and dimensionaled them up above the photos.  I was going to go right accross, but changed my mind. This is one of my favourite layouts. What do you think of it??

I will be posting the winner of the BLOG CANDY tomorrow, so I hope you have been leaving your comments under the post 30, 000 hits dated Tuesday 21st April 2009. I will be adding more candy to the loot before I post a winner too. So don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see who won. You never know it could be YOU!!!

Easter Bonnet!

img_6387_1

These photos are a couple years old, but the LO itself is only a few moths old. The card stock has shown much brighter than it actually is but I’m sure you get the idea. My little darling made this bonnet all by herself for the Easter Bonnet Parade at her school. My favourite part would have to be the cute little chick on the front (check out the close up), he is sooo cute. These papers are DCWV and I used co-ordinating colours from the Core’dinations Card stock collection. The title was done with Thickers and chipboard which I painted and glittered.

So what do you think? She is sooo cute hey?!

Anyway, I better get moving and cook some dinner, but come back tomorrow as there will be BLOG CANDY posted here in the morning! Just as soon as I get a pic of it. I’m pretty sure you are going to love it.

Animal Antics!

I love these photos of my family. They look like they are having so much fun!  And don’t those cute little kiddies look just like their Daddy (except the dark haired one, That’s Jemma and she looks like her Mummy). I didn’t really get a look in with the other three.

The paper was DCVW. They have these gorgeous paper packs out at the moment and this is the animal one. (the proper name eludes me at this time). This one has cute owl in the right hand corner, I just took out my craft knife and cut around him and slipped my photo underneath. Cute little trick hey?? The other animals were from another sheet from the pack and I hand cut them all out and put them on. I used Thickers (don’t you just luurrrrve Thickers?) and BG chipboard (which I painted) for the title. There is also some MM journal blocks on there as well. So what do you think, Pretty cute HUH?

Kirsty Brown

Hi, I am a Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator in Gatton, Queensland. I'm married with four beautiful children, Sean, Jemma, Akayla and Darcy. I absolutely love scrapping and cardmaking and try to do both as often as possible. With four kids that's probably why I'm 6 years behind in my photos....lol.
