- Ink- Whisper White Craft Ink, Versa Mark

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #14

Hey everyone! You will not believe the week I’m having! It just hasn’t stopped. But in saying that at least I am busy…right?! Four kids just don’t seem to be enough……bring it on I say! I can take it. I’m tough! ………I’m kidding, PLEASE don’t bring on any more….I’m not sure of up and down at the moment. I won’t bore you with my itinerary but I can assure you I have to book in bathroom breaks….LOL!
Anyway onto this weeks challenge-

And of course my creation-

I have to admit the art journal has nothing to do with the bed scene….but I used the colours. Urban Garden DSP matches it beautifully, so I went in that direction.
- Stamp Set- Jumbo Outline Alphabet and Calendar Alphabet and Numbers
- Cardstock- Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Urban Garden DSP
- Ink- Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy
- Accessories- White Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Crimper, Craft Knife, Dimensionals, Cutter Kit and White Gel Pen
Check out the rest of the amazing DT
Well I better be going and do some cards up for the Stamp-A-Stack I am having tonight. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute…don’t you think?

Oh my it’s sooooo fast now!
Hey everyone! I am finally back online! It feels so good too. I was a little lost there for a while….. lol! Since it has been in for a service and lube it is sooo much faster.
Well you all know I missed the last Inkspirations challenge but hey I will post it anyway, but first here is the challenge,

I used the Baroque BG as the main image to replicate the pic on the plates. I had great difficulty clear embossing the image so ended up using the Crystal Effects. I was in a hurry when taking the photos and I didn’t take another perspective of it like I usually do.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the DT-
Well better get going and get the kids and take them to dance.

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #12

Hey everyone! It’s time again for another Inkspiration Challenge. Oh I love these challenges. They always help me out of a mellow Mojo! At the moment though my Mojo is absolutely on fire I just haven’t had the time to use it! The school activities have been in high mode of late with Grandparents Day and Mad Scientist Day. We have parent/teacher interviews coming up to. As well as my youngest has a camp coming up. The housework on the other hand has suffered just a little. I have a mountain in my room and under all those clothes is my bed….I think! I better do a head count of the kids…..1, 2, 3……….oh and there’s 4. Okay, I’m good! No children have been buried in the avalanche…LOL!
Well onto this weeks inspiration-

I had a couple ideas for this one. Firstly, the colours reminded me of the beach. The surf’s up SS popped in my head straight away. This is usually how I work, colours inspire my SS choice. Secondly, the duvet and pillows have their own sketch pattern happening. But the third idea is what got me going. The patterns in the duvet and pillows reminded me of snowflakes, and all the blue hues represent winter to me. So this is what I ended up with-

There is some sponging, embossing and spritzing involved to add to the effect of Winter. I love how it has turned out. Especially when these colours would usually push me in another direction.
- Stamp Set- Winter Post and Seasons Greetings
- Cardstock- Ballet Blue, Yoyo Yellow and Whisper White
- Ink- Ballet Blue, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue and Yoyo Yellow
- Accessories- Clear embossing powder, Bashful Blue Stitched Ribbon, Linen Thread, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue and Ballet Blue Markers, Heat Tool, Dimensionals and Sponges.
Of course you cannot miss out on the rest of the DT’s work. They always have something fabulous.
I hope I have inspired you this week. I try to every week!

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #11

Hey everyone! Second post for the day…..now I am positive something is wrong with me… lol! I first thought something was wrong with me as I looked at the Inspiration Pic….. I thought OMG! What the heck am I going to do?! Me…me without an idea is just absurd! Don’t be laughing Theresa! I can hear you from here!
Have a look-

Well most of you know I am a colour inspired person, you may have noticed with past Inspiration pics I have used the colours out of them….I suppose just like everyone else. The colours in this were really frustrating me. But AHA! I thought I can go with a theme instead!……I am soo clever! LOL! Being a kitchen….. and that all Cafe’s and ice cream parlours have kitchens. I went in that direction. In this case I went Strawberry ice cream. What do you think-

Much like a menu board or something in that context anyway! Do you think I hit the nail on the head? I used a little hardware and clips to simulate the handles on the cupboards and drawers and look…..I used the Very Vanilla and Going Grey to simulate the colours I see…hehehe!
- Stamp Set- Yummy, Tart n Tangy and Cute and Curly
- Cardstock- Riding Hood Red, Going Grey and Very Vanilla
- Inks- Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Going Grey
- Accessories- Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon, SAMJ, Basic Grey Taffeta ribbon, Eyelet Edge Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Brads, Clip and Dimensionals
I am sure the rest of the DT have some awesome examples to show, so be sure to check them out-

Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #10
Hey everyone! It’s Friday again and it is time for another Inkspiration Challenge. Don’t you just love them??! Well, for me this particular challenge was a little difficult, I don’t do a lot of male orientated cards (I always put them in the tooooo hard basket) but this pic was telling me a male card was called for. Just check this bedspread out-

When I first saw this challenge I was like “Oh no!! But I stuck myself down in the craft chair (in other words the dining chair), and I didn’t get off until I had something I thought passed the challenge. Have a looksie-

What do you think? I still think I struggled to pull it off, but I’m sure my Dad would like this one. You will have to ignore my crooked sentiment, it looked straight the first time…lol!
There is a lot of distressing going on with this card. I even pulled out the sanding block!
- Stamp Set- Sanded BG, Circle Circus and Sweet little Sentiments
- Cardstock- Basic Grey, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip Basic Black and Kraft
- Ink- Versa Mark, Staz-on and Chocolate Chip
- Accessories- Mat Pack, Chocolate Chip Marker, Sanding Block, Bone Folder, Eyelet Edge Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 11/4 Circle Punch, 13/8 Circle Punch, Cutter Kit, Basic Grey Corduroy Button, Linen Thread and Chocolate Chip Ribbon.
Check out all the other members of the DT,
I suspect they will be ‘Oh so inspiring!’ They always are!

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #9
Hey everyone! Again I apologise for the lack of blogging! There just seems to be so much going on in my life right now. I am still creating cards, I just have to take photos and blog them. Easier said than done right now though…LOL! But of course I could not, not post this challenge. And boy oh boy!!! This certainly was a challenge. I was starting to think I wasn’t going to have anything to show. I did quite a few cards and I just wasn’t happy with them. Finally I did something I could use….lol!
Here is the challenge-

Here is sneak peak…..I’m such a tease….

And here is the rest of it…

My initial thought when I saw the pic was brayering. Not to sure why?! But with a couple of ideas thrown around and a great friends input I went with water spritzing and using the colours from the painting in the BG. While the stamped image was still wet I gave the card a flick and it spread the ink even further around. It resembles something like spider veins! I just love how this technique turns out. When the card was dry I used my Aqua painter to run Regal Rose around and outlined some petals and stems. Looks a bit like crayon with the texture showing through. Just love it!! What do you think?
I was playing with stamp set A Rose is a Rose first but the end result looked to blurry and a little too ‘blah’! I will work with it though.
- Stamp set- Inspired by Nature, Baroque Motifs and Flight of the Butterfly
- Cardstock- Regal Rose textured, Apricot Appeal, Pretty in Pink, Watercolour paper and Very Vanilla.
- Ink- Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal and Regal Rose
- Accessories- Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Pink Pirouette Button, Linen Thread, Water Spritzer, Aqua Painter, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 & 1 1/4 Circle Punches and Eyelet Edge Punch.
But also don’t forget to check out all the other DT’s fabulous work

Hi, I am a Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator in Gatton, Queensland. I'm married with four beautiful children, Sean, Jemma, Akayla and Darcy. I absolutely love scrapping and cardmaking and try to do both as often as possible. With four kids that's probably why I'm 6 years behind in my photos....lol.
