Inkspirations Challenge #59
Hey everyone!
For this weeks Inkspiration Challenge I was tossing up between a card or a scrap page because of the square nature of the sketch. But I had great visions for the Easter Blossoms set and had to make it!
Here is this weeks sketch~
See, that would make a nice scrapbook LO don’t you think? Oh well next time……. I promise when there is another square-shaped sketch I will do a LO…..here’s hoping I can do it now! LOL!
I discovered another cool trick with tissue paper too. Other people have already probably done it, but I haven’t seen it so I thought I would share it with you all. Do you notice my BG that looks like patterned paper? Well it’s not…..it is a base of Rich Razzleberry and I scrunched up a piece of tissue paper, spread it back out and then used the Anywhere Glue Stick to stick it down on the RR. Screwing it up gives it a bit of texture. I then stamped the blossom branch from the Easter Blossoms SS all over the tissue paper in Early Espresso. It all started because I didn’t like how strong the RR was coming across. I know you cannot see it as much but I love the effect, perfect for vintage cards. It is a bit like the Faux Silk Technique but in reverse…LOL! What about you….do you think you will have a go at it? If you do let me know so I can see what you come up with!
Also you may have noticed the little girls basket. I decided against the eggs and stamped the blossom again and you may notice up the top the rather large bunch of blossoms I coloured them and cut them out and put them on the basket. I am rather pleased with how this turned out….might just be my new favourite.

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #45
Hey everyone!
It’s time for a fabulous Inkspiration Challenge. I was so in the mood to make a card this morning because for the past three days I have been concentrating on scrapping for my kid’s school. I have mentioned before that I am having a stall at the ‘Christmas in the Country’ Art & Craft show that is held annually here in Gatton and it is the schools biggest fundraiser. It starts with an opening night on the Thursday evening and then a jam-packed two days of over 2000 visitors coming from all over SE QLD. That doesn’t explain the scrapping though does it???? Well it is the 20th anniversary for the Art & Craft show and they want to do something special for the event by showing a power point slide of pictures from the previous years of the event including scrapped pages. Having an album there for people to peruse past years would be just fabulous. I just hope I get more done!
So here’s this weeks challenge
Pretty cute huh?
What do you think of my creation?
I wasn’t too sure at first but I think I’m falling for it! LOL! I haven’t played with the glitter for ages…not sure why, I think this heart looks gorgeous. I don’t have a die for a heart yet, so I had to hand cut this one. Took me ages to come up with the right shape and size… LOL! I was having a bad hand-drawn day!

Beautiful Wings!!
Hey everyone!
I have been trying to play with all my new things I have purchased out of the new catty! This time I want to be able to say that YES, I have played with that!!!! or YES, I have inked that up!!! LOL! I have been having lots of fun too! I don’t think I have created this much on ages!
Beautiful Wings is a new embosslit available in the new catalogue and I love it. There are five different shapes and sizes with a different pattern in each. They are super quick and easy too. My next workshop is working with this embosslit creating different cards and projects. I cannot wait.
I love this card and you won’t believe it……but I used another combo from the Colour Coach. I use it so much now that it now lives on my desk! This combo was found on the Certainly Celery chip. To give the embossed pattern more Oomph I ran the Pink Pirouette marker {brush tip end} over it to highlight them. I just love it!
Well I have some more house organising to do! Our Garage sale won’t be long now! Don’t forget I have a list of STAMPS FOR SALE further down the page. Check them out!
