It is colour challenge time!
I had a lovely play with the distressing essentials kit on this one. I actually made this card back in June and was my first play with the kit. I don’t think I did too badly…LOL! But hey, practise makes perfect. I love the end result though….and these colours are right up my alley! To colour my image I used and a Blender pen and my wonder crayons, I love these things. They are so easy to colour with.

It is Inkspiration time and this time it is a Sketch Challenge. I am starting to like these particular challenges a lot. Not sure why! I do try to stick to the sketch as much as possible but sometimes I will add another layer because I think my end product needs it. Next sketch challenge I am going to have a go at flipping the design just to try something new IYKWIM!!

Yes that’s right you read correctly Teneale….Teneale Williams the fabulous TENEALE WILLIAMS!!! Teneale is one of my most favourite crafters. Her work is so inspirational and has to be the most beautiful work you probably have ever seen! I cannot belive I am even on a DT with her. It is going to be super fun working with Teneale that’s for sure! How exciting! Isn’t this the best DT you have ever seen??? Now I am just gushing but I am soooo proud to be working with such an awesome DT. Thank you Keesh!!
While we were away on the retreat Madonna set some challenges. We used the three challenges set by the Elite Challenges blog for the month of March. We are sooo lucky to be part of a fantastic team!! We all had heaps of fun with these! I did the Stamp Set challenge even though it was a SS I struggle with. You will se my creation on here in the next couple of days!
Here is the colours
and of course here is my creation
Looks very much similar to a card I have done just recently. I am sure you remember it. I used Tangerine Tango. I just love this stamp set, I suppose you can tell that already! LOL!
I stamped the Baja Breeze flower in second generation and used my blender pen and Baja Breeze Ink to add the spots. I wasn’t going to do that but first generation flower was too strong and the second seemed to get lost on the card, hence the spots. I think it turned out very well. So well in fact that I received 2nd prize for this card. Mads organised gifts for all the challenges in first second and third! Isn’t she super nice?!
Well best be off and do some creating today. I got something in the mail yesterday that I am itching to play with!
