Hey everyone!
Guess what????…..Oh well it’s too late now…..you already know, the title of this post gave it away! LOL!
Sorry I missed last week guys, I just was not having a good week and couldn’t get on top of things….NOT to mention MOJO had taken an unexpected holiday! I am sure it went to the coast, just where I was meant to be….hehe!
I didn’t realise it at the time but the card I made for Sketch challenge #51 a few weeks ago was in the same colours as this weeks colour challenge. So that meant I had to use more brain power to create a completely different card with the same colours…..I find that hard to do…… do you?
Well, I sort of had this card floating around my crafting memory banks for a few weeks now. The minute I saw it I knew I had to recreate it. This particular card is originally designed by that awesome friend of mine Karen, you have to see her card it is simply awesome.
Here is my version
After being absent for so long there has been mixed feelings about this card. Firstly the first card back from a long hiatus is never the best you can do…it is rather like a warm up if you know what I mean! LOL! I must admit it did take me a while to put it together. Secondly I don’t usually make cards like this. And thirdly I don’t know about you but I like this card. It had grown on me quite quickly.
You can just see the woodgrain BG. I clear embossed that over the top of the images, then I attached the brad, ribbon, twine and leaves.

Don’t forget that you can check them out on the Inkspirations Challenge site all together, this is also where you can see the challenge and add your submission.
Okey Dokey – your take on my card is FANTABULOUS!!!! I just HAD to switch on the ol’ lappie and take a peek!
So glad I could inspire you just like you do me!

Hi Kristy,
I’m very inspired by this card. Love that set so much.
I would love to know the colors you used for the birdcages. Looks like Chocolate Chip Craft. You have my e-mail, thanks in advance.
