Inkspirations Challenge #54

Hey everyone!

Guess what????…..Oh well it’s too late now…..you already know, the title of this post gave it away! LOL!

Sorry I missed last week guys, I just was not having a good week and couldn’t get on top of things….NOT to mention MOJO had taken an unexpected holiday! I am sure it went to the coast, just where I was meant to be….hehe!

I didn’t realise it at the time but the card I made for Sketch challenge #51 a few weeks ago was in the same colours as this weeks colour challenge. So that meant I had to use more brain power to create a completely different card with the same colours…..I find that hard to do…… do you?

Well, I sort of had this card floating around my crafting memory banks for a few weeks now. The minute I saw it I knew I had to recreate it. This particular card is originally designed by that awesome friend of mine Karen, you have to see her card it is simply awesome.

Here is my version

After being absent for so long there has been mixed feelings about this card. Firstly the first card back from a long hiatus is never the best you can do…it is rather like a warm up if you know what I mean! LOL! I must admit it did take me a while to put it together. Secondly I don’t usually make cards like this. And thirdly I don’t know about you but I like this card. It had grown on me quite quickly.

You can just see the woodgrain BG. I clear embossed that over the top of the images, then I attached the brad, ribbon, twine and leaves.

  1. Welcome back Kirsty! & I’d have to say you’re back with a “BANG”! This card is absolutely fantastic, as is Karen’s inspiration! I think there might be a huge queue of people lining up for one these! lol

  2. Just LOVE your branch and falling leaves – brilliant! No loss of mojo from this side of the screen 🙂 Love that set and it is at the top of my hit list. Hoping you are able to have a better week this week amidst all the chaos and aftermath of the rain there. Hugest (((hugs))).

  3. Gorgeous as always Kirsty. Your card has now made me go and buy that set, just put it on my stamp club order. Love the subtle background and the addition of the leaves. Your mojo is well and truly back. Hope you are doing okay, have a lovely week.
