Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #41

Hey everyone!

I am so excited as I am hosting this weeks challenge and I cannot wait to see what you all come up with! This week is a Sketch Challenge and I have added a twist……..WATERCOLOURING ……..that’s right, I want you all to do some form of watercolouring on your sketch challenge. I am finding with more practice the better it looks. I”m so excited!!!

Here is the sketch

This is my spin on it-

I must say that the coloured image is much darker than it is showing in the photo but I am sure you get the drift. Guess what else I used for this card??….. that’s right, I used the Colour Coach. This combo was found under the Marina Mist colour chip. It is not a combo I would have thought to put together, but I just love it! …..don’t you??

  1. That is such a gorgeous card, and the colour scheme is so pretty. can’t wait til the 1st of October when I can put in my ‘big’ SU order (as a hobbyist I need to wait til the next quarter, so impatient!!!).
That set is one of my favs, I just love it!

  2. Oh wow, what an awesome challenge Kirsty! I hope to play along this week. I didn’t think I liked that stamp set but after seeing what you’ve done with it … *shakes first at Kirsty* LOL. Now it’s on my wish list.

  3. It is a beautiful color combo, and I love how the whole card turned out. People have been sharing the cutest samples done with this set! You are making me rethink getting it… :)

    Nice work on the watercoloring!

    Have a nice weekend,
    Cindy

  4. Great sketch and “extra” challenge – hopefully I gat time to take part. I love your card, with the gorgeous teapot and cups in the centre. And the ribbon, bow, button and twine are a great addition.

  5. Hi Kirsty,

I’m not a coffee drinker but if you substitute chocolate in there it works for me :) Great card and I love the idea of a watercolouring challenge. I’m sooo looking forward to getting that scallop trim punch – I can see you’ve been getting good use of it ;)
