Time for some Pizzazz!

Hi all!

I have been trying so hard to organise my time a little better to get more crafting achieved but I seem to be struggling! This weekend however my hubby offered to look after 7 children, that’s right seven, for the day so my good friend and downline Tina could have some stamping time. Mind you Tina had 6 children spend the night with her last night and I had one! LOL! So it seems I did not see a lot of my kids this weekend. I am sure this week will more than make up for that one! Here is one of the creations I made-

Again I mixed up a few SS to create this masterpiece (scoff…scoff). I love doing that. I tell you though, it took me some time to get to the final product. I just couldn’t get my act together! Afterwards I managed to get my workshop cards done, which I will show you tomorrow and I also organised my shoe box swap for later this week. I have one more major creation to finish for this week and I am done.

Thanks for dropping by!

Where have I been?!

Hi all!

You are all probably wondering if I have dropped off the face of the planet….well…..I may as well of….. LOL! This week has gone by in such a blur…..I feel like it is still Monday. I have been busy with workshops, parties and also preparing for the next UStamp session…..not to mention the after school activities of dance, swimming and soccer! You can imagine I am a little run off my feet. But I do have something to show you all. Akayla’s teacher, Mrs French, is leaving today on Maternity Leave so I whipped up a little something……I hope you like it!

The card is as big as the previous ones I made so that all the class can sign it. I put a couple of very cute embroidered bibs inside the little box. Just too cute.

Don’t forget to come back later this evening for the next Inkspiration Challenge. So I best be off to get to get it done…LOL!

Thanks for dropping by!

ETA- The Inkspiration challenge will not be on this week as Keesh is still having some computer issues. We will resume again next week.

3. thought and prayers.

Thank you for the chance to win a free pass.

Congratulations Ilina! I will email you with the code for the ultra cute members blinkie. You are in for a fabulous time at the ‘Spring Soiree’  There are some fabulous things being displayed at the designers site. I thought I would show you all now the second project I made for the ‘With Love’ session…..it is a little late for Valentines, but someone asked me to create a number of these for their birthday bash but in different colours and stamps.

Pretty cute huh! It was my Valentines Cupcake box with a Sweet Treat cup to put the sprinkles inside of. Just pull the tab and your cupcake is instantly decorated. How fabulous is that?

Anyhoo I would also like to apologise for my lack of posting. A lot of my time this week has been taken by babysitting my parents home while they are on their fabulous cruise…..lucky buggers! I have been doing the day shift and my brother is doing the night shift. I have also been organising some more UStamp projects and organising for tonight’s workshop…..oops! That reminds me I have a cake to bake. I better get moving!

Extreme Fun!

Hey everyone!

I am the luckiest girl in the world and as I said yesterday, I am envied by all of my stamping buddies. They are so sick of me gushing too….LOL! I now have to gush to all of my blogging pals……and YOU of course! I received in the mail on Wednesday a huge box of SU goodies from America. It was a very extremely generous Thank You gift from Dawn who is the absolute genius behind UStamp. I have been the Australian Dream Team Member for two sessions and I will also be taking part in the next session as well. Take a peek at the next session-

Spring Soiree` will open on the 19th March and will run through til the 16th of April. You can join now on the early bird special of $19.99. This is only available til February 19th, after that it will be the regular price of $24.99. You won’t be disappointed, there is a fabulous DT lineup who is, as we speak, creating the most gorgeous creations you will ever see. They all have their own tips and ideas to pass on to you all. I hope to see you all there .

But back to the subject…..what was it?!……OH YEAH!…That’s right all that fabulous SU stuff I received….hehehe! Here is a couple creations I made with the goodies.

Are these stamps awesome or what? They are great for teenagers…..oh and my 11yo son as he loves motorbikes. I made that card for him as a congratulations for becoming the school’s Community Captain. I am so very proud and excited for him. Of course he LOVED the card and has it displayed, in his room for all to see.

I hope you like my creations and that I didn’t gush TOO much! LOL! One more gush…..Aren’t those colours just divine?

Inkspiration Colour Challenge #18

Hey everyone!

It is Inkspiration time. I hope you all have your thinking caps on ’cause this challenge is a doozy! I love the colour challenges {as you all know}, but this one had me thinking for two days straight. That is not particularly something that happens to me, especially for that long. Lucky I didn’t start on it today right?! Well you have seen the sneak peek above, now below is the Challenge pic and my design.

It is missing something isn’t it? I think the DSP is throwing it off balance…..or something….argh! Let me know what you guys think. Also don’t forget to go and see the rest of the DT

They will have something fabulous I’m sure. Be sure to come back tomorrow as I have something to show you all! I have had a few jealous fellow stamper friends the past two days and will have for quite sometime I think. I received a huge package in the mail on Wednesday and tomorrow all will be revealed.

Thanks for dropping by!

The other Onesie!

Hey everyone!

Yesterday I mentioned that I was making  another onesie card. I stayed up late again last night to finish it and my mum was with me every step of the way. {good ole’ mum} I already had the base completed decked out with the neck and leg trimmings, the brads, tag and the embossed stars. We just had to come up with the central design. You think that would have been easy….but noooooooo! We came up with a couple alternatives including the duck from one of my old favourites ‘All Mixed Up’. But after careful consideration we decided the duck was too ‘old’ for a baby card. I then decided to play and design my own Hot Air Balloon. So here it is-

It’s a teeny bit cute don’t you think? You cannot see it but it also has the bum flaps the same as the first card. I think the ladies will love their cards and that is my job done for the day!

Baby Onesie Card!

Hey everyone!

Well just the other day my mum asked me if I could whip up a couple of cards for two work colleagues that were both leaving on Maternity Leave {must be something in the water over there…….remind me not to work there…LOL!}. I have one completed and I will show you that one today…..the other is in progress and I will show you that one when it is completed. It will be the same style just different colours. My mum over saw everything that I did {just in case} and stayed up late with me to complete it. I might do something on the inside yet…we will see. I might be overthrown by the matriarch!

It is nearly the height of an A4 piece of cardstock, so it is quite large. It was required to be big enough to fit 60 signatures. I found the template at Cards by Karlum. Go and check it out because there are hundreds of different templates you can download. The only thing I changed was the back piece. I rounded it to imitate a real onesie. What do you think, was it a good idea?

I am very happy with how it turned out! I’m pretty sure the mums to be will like it too.

More Ustamp Projects!

Hey everyone!

I just have to show you all my interpretation of this ultra cute box that Jenny Moors, the UK Dream Team designer showed us how to do, over at UStamp. Jenny made an adorable Valentines version. I thought I would turn it into a Welcome Baby version- Here are some pics-

Isn’t it just too cute?!

That’s just one of the fabulous creations over there. You can still join now and join in on all the fun! It is amazing how many new friends I have made by being a part of it. I hope I see you there soon! We might even have a chat in the Chat Room!
