Cuttlebug Special Project #5
I have just submitted a tutorial on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot for this Organic sort of card (hehehe)!

It is a very easy card to make, but if you want to know how I did it check out the tutorial on the Cuttlebug site. And as you can probably tell I now own the Organic Outlines Stamp set. I just love it. So you will probably see more of this one in the coming weeks. So I hope you guys like it too!
You should have seen Theresa and I the day I made this…..It was sooo funny! I asked if Theresa could come over and take photos while I did this creation. It is so hard to show a technique while you are actually doing it and own only a 55-200mm lens (won’t be for much longer). Theresa was climbing all sorts of furniture to get the shot that painted a thousand words….LOL! Well maybe she was standing on my dining chairs, but it was funny all the same. We thought of, created and photographed this beauty in just under an hour. We were on such a tight schedule and we made it. We are sooo GOOD!! Ah huh! Ah huh! Thank you so very much for all your help Theresa. You are the best!! Can I book you in this week as well. I have more to do…..ROFLMAO!! No I’m serious I do!

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #8
Hey everyone, I cannot believe it’s time for another one of Makeesha’s Inkspiration challenge. Is the time flying by or what?? It is nearly half way through the year and I feel I have not done much of anything. Don’t get me wrong….I’m doing ’stuff’ just not the right ’stuff’. IYKWIM….!
Anyway onto the Sketch

Pretty simple huh? You could make a clean cut, simple but yet fresh card with this design. But nooooooo, I had to sit there for ages over thinking the process and the eventual design. But I do like what I ended up with. It’s not my usual style, but hey, what’s a challenge for??

One day one of my photo’s will be straight and not so crooked….naaahh! You wouldn’t know that it was my work if I started fixing things up!….LOL! I love the Friends 24/7 set. I just haven’t done a lot with it. I have clear embossed on three layers with a BG and an element. I also water coloured the bird slightly.
- Stamp Set- Friends 24/7 and En Francais BG
- Cardstock- Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla
- Inks- Versa Mark, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa and Always Artichoke
- Accessories- Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Cutter Kit, Clear embossing powder, Heat tool and dimensionals
Oh one more thing- I used the lid from the SU button container to make the circle behind the bird. Just a clever little hint I picked up from somewhere. Don’t ask me where though….LOL! So what do you think…should I do more with the Friends 24/7 set or back away, just back away from the set??
Don’t forget to check out the other Inkspiration DT
Thanks for dropping by!

Party Hearty!
Hello everyone! This is the scrap LO I am doing in a workshop tomorrow night after I have my Tupperware Party. See I’m not tooo busy. Got to love it though! I don’t think I could be anything else but…LOL!
I have also decided that I will show my double spreads seperated, so you can have a better look!

What prompted me to do this workshop is one of my fellow scrapping buddies {hi Kolina} asked {well actually begged me}, to do a cupcake LO! So every month I hope to have a scrapbook workshop for the girls, and I will ask them what theme they would like to do { I love these girls I tell ya}!

Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration #53
Hey Everyone! How many of you this week have gone and checked out Kristina’s CI?? If by chance you did how many of you freaked out?? I know I did. All those bold colours all trying to grab your attention all at once. Oh well, it’s not called a challenge for nothing!

I tried for a beach scene. What do you think? I will have to admit that I am not too happy with this card at all. See!! I need more practice with the brayering…LOL! But I have finally inked up this stamp set. I might have another go at this challenge to see if I can improve on this fatality. I hope I get the time at least.

Inkspiration Inspiration Challenge #7
Hey Everyone! Can you believe it is Friday already?? It’s time again for Makeesha’s Challenges. I have had such a good week. I have been baking Choc Chip Cookies, Spinach, bacon and onion fritters…..and oh my gosh the most divine pumpkin soup you can ever imagine (thanks Theresa). I have even had time to make some bloody fantabulous cards….if I may say so myself…..better watch it though upline has warned me about getting what you call a BIG head. LOL!!
Anyway onto this weeks Inkspiration Challenge-

Isn’t that the most gorgeous duvet?? My girls were swooning over it when I showed them. Where did you find that one Makeesha?? I might even buy one for my bed.
Here is my interpretation of this inspiration-

I’m a sucker for layering and dimension. It just gives your card that extra oomph!! Don’t you think??
Here are some close ups-

Did you notice the hand snipped grass?? I also used the little bug out of bugs and kisses. Soo cute! I hope I have inspired you!!
- Stamp Set- Petal Pizzazz, Bug and Kisses, Really Retro and Frames with a Flourish
- Cardstock- Pink Pirouette Textured, Very Vanilla, Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red
- Ink- Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze

Funky Tri Shutter Card!
Hey everyone! I have been very busy today making this gorgeous, ultra divine, melt in your mouth pumpkin soup that my good friend Theresa taught me. Oh my Gosh!! It’s to die for. Not only that she pointed me in the direction of this ultra cool card called a Tri Shutter Card. I found it on the Splitcoast site under Weekly Challenges, Try a new technique. On that thread there is a link to Bonnie Szwalkiewicz’stutorial for this awesome card and also a link to the gallery of all the Splitcoast entries. Go have a look. There are some awesome cards there. That’s enough chatter, on to the card.

This is it open and front view the next one shows a little of the cards design. It does shut flat but I didn’t get a piccy of that….sorry!

All the other photos are just close ups of accents

Yes I did cut the grass from Inspired by Nature…..and yes I know I’m insane…LOL!

Well that’s me for today. I was going to do more on this card but thought no that’s enough. I have to stop somewhere right?? I hope I have now inspired you all to make one of your own..hehe
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge #6
I have certainly missed quite a few of Dawn’s colour challenges, and you all know how much I love a colour challenge. Well miss them, no more! Well I’ll try not to anyway!

And look at that! Would that be Cameo Coral?? Trust me to pick a colour challenge with Cameo Coral. I try to avoid this colour, but I seem to be using it a fair bit this week!
Here is my submission-

I used the same technique I used for the card I made for Makeesha’s Colour challenge! I’m loving it. I used the butterfly out of Dreams Du Jour and coloured him in with the blender pen (still practising that one too). I will tell you a little something about this card though. It took me a matter of minutes to make this card. So quick and simple. But is it too bland? What do you think?

Hi, I am a Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator in Gatton, Queensland. I'm married with four beautiful children, Sean, Jemma, Akayla and Darcy. I absolutely love scrapping and cardmaking and try to do both as often as possible. With four kids that's probably why I'm 6 years behind in my photos....lol.
