A little bit of chalking!
This card is a CAESD one. I only have a few subtle differences. The original creator is Teneale Williams. On her blog is a tutorial for the whole card so I won’t be listing how I did it or what products I used as it’s all there. When I took the photo though it started to rain so that is why it looks a little blotchy. It got wet! This was my first attempt at this technique and as you can see I need more practice. And please ignore the little white splotch under the sentiment, that happened after I made the card and the white ink was still a little moist. Oh dear! Maybe I should have done a second one. Unfortunately I don’t have the time at the moment. My kids have dance rehearsal tomorrow and I’m doing up a seating chart for the concert today. I still have to finish the hand made gifts for the kids to give to their teachers next week ( last week of school for us). Also help the kids write in their Christmas cards to their friends. Not to mention that my youngest girl’s birthday is next Tuesday! So lots to do this weekend. Maybe next week will be better for me. Here’s hoping anyway!

My new Award!
I have received an award from my new blogging friend Manola. A very lovely lady who produces some lovely pieces of work with the Cuttlebug machine plus numerous other things! Thank you Manola, I’m ecstatic that I can inspire you with my work. Manola and I met on the Cuttlebug ChallengeBlog where I’m a guest designer. Since then though we have found that we have a lovely friend in common. A scrapbooker oozing creative talent! I’m sorry to say but said person does not have a blog yet, when she does though I will let you know.
So here are the rules
1- The winner may put the logo on their blog.
2- Put a link to the person who sent you the award.
3- Nominate 5 blogs.
4- Put links to their blogs.
5- Leave a message for the nominees.
Oh my I’m stuck, I’m having trouble with rule number three! I love all the blogs I visit, every last one of them! So many people inspire me…… oh what to do!!!
I went away to think about it and I came to the conclusion that it’s just too hard to choose. If you would like to see who are the people that inspire me, look in the right hand column under blogroll. There are heaps of them and I’m yet to update it. Most of them are Elite Stampers, which is a team that I’m a part of.
So have a good look, there are some very talented ladies in that bunch.

Hi, I am a Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator in Gatton, Queensland. I'm married with four beautiful children, Sean, Jemma, Akayla and Darcy. I absolutely love scrapping and cardmaking and try to do both as often as possible. With four kids that's probably why I'm 6 years behind in my photos....lol.
