Oh what a busy girl I have been!!
I couldn’t help myself, I had to do it. I was so inspired after doing the Werner CI this morning and looking at all the other entries that I did another card. I absolutely fell in love with an entry done by Diane Barnes that I did one very much like it.
I love looking at everyone else’s creations and there blogs. I find some really beautiful ones that give heaps of inspiration. This particular one called for embossing, so out came the new heat gun and some white embossing powder and I was set.
- Stamp Set- Always
- Cardstock- Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla and Old Olive.
- Ink- Old Olive and Versa mark
- Accessories- Chocolate Chip Ribbon, White Embossing Powder
- Tools- Heat Gun, Dimensionals, Tape and Word Window Punch
So simple, pretty and eye catching don’t you think? My card size is different to Dianes but still effective. You could do little mini cards with this design too. Oh how pretty that would look!
While I had the always set out AND the heat gun AND the embossing powder I did another card. I had this absolutely beautiful turquoise coloured powder and decided to give it a whirl.
It turned quite lovely. So I picked out some co-ordinating colours, and pulled the cuttlebug out again, and for something different out came the pretties kit. This kit is just fabulous! I decided to keep the flower the plain white. I folded it in half and then half again put the rhinestone brad through it and the top of the hat pin to attach it.
- Stamp Set- Always
- Cardstock- Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise and Very Vanilla.
- Ink- Chocolate Chip, Versa Mark and Basic Grey.
- Accessories- Pretties Kit, Turquoise Embossing Powder and Chocolate Chip Ribbon
- Tools- Cuttlebug, Dimensionals, Heat tool and Glue Dots
Would love to do more this afternoon but have to cut mums brand new stamps up and take them over to her….but you never know I might have to pre-test the image to make sure it works!……lol. Could turn out to be made up on a card to make sure it looks alright! I’m a very thorough Demonstrator, you can’t deny me that!

Kristina Werner CI #24
Well its time for another wonderful, fantastic, Inspirational and fun Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration. Beautiful Colours yet again. I wish I had that Kiwi Kiss though. It looks spectacular. I will just have to use my good old Old Olive….lol.
I absolutely love Bodacious Bouquet (I’m pretty sure you have heard me say that before). I have a lot of fun with it. I suppose I love things BOLD and BRIGHT. And you can do magical things with these sorts of sets!
- Stamp Set- Boho Backgrounds, Bodacious Bouquet and Sanded
- Cardstock- Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Bloom Die-cuts.
- Ink- Old Olive and Chocolate Chip
- Accessories- Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Markers and Chocolate Chip and Old Olive Ribbon
- Tools- Dimensionals, Two-way glue pen, Circle Punch, Scissors and Tape.
This was my first play with the Die-cuts. The pack you can purchase from SU contains 4 of 12×12 textured sheets full of die-cuts in four different colours- Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red. I used the pens on the Boho Background stamp to get the different colours on the one stamp. So easy to do!
Might even make more with this colour combo…..you never know! You might have to come back and check!

Hi, I am a Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator in Gatton, Queensland. I'm married with four beautiful children, Sean, Jemma, Akayla and Darcy. I absolutely love scrapping and cardmaking and try to do both as often as possible. With four kids that's probably why I'm 6 years behind in my photos....lol.
